Unichem Ltd is the largest distributor of gardening products in Ireland. We operate as the sole importer and distributor for many leading brands as well as providing a wide range of non-branded products to our customers.

We are the largest and longest serving wholesale distributor of gardening products in Ireland, supplying our broad customer base of garden centres, DIY chains, Co-op’s, hardware stores, online garden centre’s, landscape centres and retail nurseries with top branded and own brand garden products since 1972.

We represent and distribute on an exclusive basis for some of the biggest names in gardening such as Vitax, SBM, Neudorff, Artevasi to name just a few. We put a strong emphasis on stocking only the best quality products that our customers can sell with confidence and backing this up with high levels of stock and service across our 4000 plus SKU’s.

Extensive warehousing

Our extensive warehousing on the outskirts of Dublin allow us the ability to carry high stock levels to service our customers’ needs even at peak times. We operate our own fleet of delivery vehicles which combined with our while our long standing relationships with some of the best hauliers in the country means we can deliver quickly and efficiently across the country.

Our strongest asset is our experienced sales team both office based and field sales who between them have over 150 years’ experience in the Irish gardening market. This extensive experience means we will always help you choose the correct product for your centre.

We stock the largest range of fertilisers in the market from traditional straights, organics, seaweed based ferts, slow release, liquids, plant stimulates to name just a few. Whatever gardening situation we have a fertiliser to suit.

We stock a large range of both branded and own brand weed killers.We stock many brand leading weedkillers such as JobDone, Destrol, and SBK as well as the proven Neudorff range of organic/natural weedkillers.

Lawncare will always be a hugely important category in Irish gardens and we stock all the staple products as well as many innovative products in this space. Products such as Dicophar liquid lawn weedkiller, Neudorff Cleanlawn, Marathon Sport, Vitax Green-up etc.

The pond category is made up of some market leading ranges from companies such are Firestone PondGard, Blagdon pond treatments and pumps, Fish mate pumps & filters and Ubbink pond lining and accessories. Grow your own is a very important category in garden centre sales. We stock the best-selling certified seed potatoes for the Irish market including the ever popular Rooster and all the usual varieties. Our onion sets and garlic are sourced directly from the growers to ensure best quality and price. While our seed range from Kings Seeds is tailor made for the Irish market.
